Discover the

Discover the unnoticed beauty in life
The contrasting eating habits of Asians and Westerners have drawn my attention to the pressing issue of fish waste in the UK. The predominant practice in the West is to focus on fillets, leading to a significant amount of discarded fish skin and other remains.
These waste materials are often dumped back into the sea instead of being properly disposed of through more economically viable methods such as burning. This disposal method contributes to the depletion of oxygen in the ocean,
putting a strain on the ecosystem and posing a serious threat to biodiversity.
Utilizing fish skin as a symbol of concealed beauty, we dried and treated it using traditional methods and captured its radiance with reflective materials.
Through the transparency, vibrant luminous spots reveal the fish’s allure, resonating with our ethos of finding beauty and purpose in all things.
